Catherine Potgieter

Catherine Potgieter, president and designer of MsBellezza, has laid the groundwork for becoming an expert in both the art and business of fine jewelry. Catherine flaunts her artistic promiscuity by flirting with both elegance and edge in all of her pieces. "Bellezza", which stands for "beauty" in the romantic, soft tongue of Italian, reflects Catherine's inspiration for the line. Her work has been influenced by many European designers; especially Bruce Oldfield with his majestic creations for European royalty and aristocracy. 

In addition to her high fashion line of jewelry, Catherine wears many other hats: she is an active member of the San Francisco Bay Area Fashion Network and the AICI (Association of Image Consultants International), the exclusive Jewelry Editor for The Pageantry Magazine, as well as the Membership Director of the Silicon Valley Chapter of NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners). MsBellezza was selected as Business of the Month by the Silicon Valley Capital Club in August 2010. Many of MsBellezza's designs can be seen on this season of Dancing with the Stars.

Through the honing of her artistic eye along with her seasoned leadership roles in various networks, Catherine put together a lethal combination of art, glamour and business to bring MsBellezza to glittering fruition.  Her mission, through researching the latest trends and cultivating unique pieces to keep clients refreshed with beauty, is to make sure her clients are red-carpet ready while allowing women with all sizes of pocketbooks to enjoy her designs.
